About Us

Founded in 2010, Toddlers To Grandparents, LLC was born from the deep desire to support families like the Hundley’s. Inspired by their youngest daughter, Gigi – a beautiful young lady diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome and Autism – the Hundley family created TTG to make a real difference. Gigi, lovingly known as an Earth-Side Angel, is not only their inspiration but also serves as TTG’s Ambassador.

Because Gigi requires assistance and supervision in every aspect of her life, the Virginia Medicaid Waiver has been truly life-changing for their family. The Hundleys understand firsthand how crucial these services are, and they are passionate about helping families just like yours navigate this journey.

At Toddlers To Grandparents, our team brings lived experience to every interaction. Over 80% of our staff personally understand the demands of caring for a loved one with a disability or complex medical needs. We know that when it comes to disabilities, aging, or chronic health conditions, everything – from daily routines to securing services – can feel overwhelming.

Choosing Toddlers To Grandparents means partnering with people who truly get what you and your family face each day. We recognize how confusing it can be to find reliable, accurate information about waiver programs and resources. That’s why we pride ourselves on being a compassionate, knowledgeable, and dependable source of support.

TTG provides service facilitation through the consumer-directed model for Virginia’s CCC+ and DD Waivers, as well as the EPSDT Program. Our mission is to guide you and your loved one through this uniquely challenging path with clarity and care.

Let Toddlers To Grandparents be the support system your family deserves. Join us today and experience the difference of working with a team that truly understands.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower individuals and families navigating the Virginia Medicaid waiver process by providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable service facilitation every step of the way.

Meet Our Leadership Team

Val Hundley – Owner / Lead Service Facilitator

Val Hundley grew up in Virginia’s Northern Neck and graduated from the University of Richmond. After marrying Leslie and raising four daughters, their youngest, Gigi, inspired them to found Toddlers To Grandparents (TTG) in 2011.

With a background in medical sales, Val retired in 2020 and became TTG’s Lead Service Facilitator. He believes in a hands-on approach to leadership and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and ongoing improvement.

Outside of work, Val enjoys baseball, camping, grilling with family and friends, and cruising with his wife and daughter, Gigi.

Leslie Hundley – Chief Executive Officer

Leslie has lived in Virginia for the past 44 years. Her youngest daughter, Gillian, has Angelman Syndrome, and Leslie understands firsthand that raising a special needs individual is both challenging and rewarding. Gigi received a Medicaid waiver 13 years ago, which allowed another set of hands to help with her. This was life-changing for Leslie and her family.

Out of her gratitude and enthusiasm from her experience with waiver services, Leslie knew she wanted others to experience the same assistance. She founded Toddlers To Grandparents in 2011 and continues to oversee the entire company.

In her spare time, Leslie enjoys quilting, cruising, cooking, decorating, and spending time with her husband, Val, her four daughters, and spoiling her four grandchildren, who have earned her the best title of “Nana”!

Kate Boissy – Chief Operating Officer

Kate is a Richmond, VA native who has spent the past 15 years working professionally in the special needs community. Her youngest sister, GiGi — better known as “TTG’s ambassador” — has a dual diagnosis of Angelman Syndrome and Autism. GiGi sparked Kate’s passion for helping individuals like her sister, and that shines through in her commitment to the families of Toddlers To Grandparents. As COO, Kate oversees the day-to-day operations of the company and manages the incredible team of Service Facilitators and administrative staff at TTG.

In her personal life, Kate is a wife and loving mother of two girls and four cats! She enjoys reading, decorating/design, thrifting, and traveling in her spare time. Kate is dedicated to ensuring each TTG member feels heard and supported with quality care throughout their waiver journey.

Tammie Myers – Director of CCC+ Waivers / Billing Manager

Tammie joined TTG in 2017 as the CCC+ and Billing Director and has been an integral part of the “behind-the-scenes” team ever since. Prior to her work with Toddlers To Grandparents, Tammie spent several years in the Skilled Home Health Care industry.

Her attention to detail, strong team management, and steadfast efficiency are invaluable to TTG as she ensures all paperwork and submissions are top-notch.

When she’s not supporting TTG members, Tammie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and visiting her three adult sons. She loves being part of the TTG family and looks forward to retiring one day alongside us!
